What we collect

• Account data: email, name (from Google OAuth if you use it).
• Resumes and job descriptions you submit — stored encrypted-at-rest in Supabase.
• Usage metadata: score counts, IP hash + browser fingerprint hash (for free-tier rate limiting).

How we use it

• To generate and store your resume analyses, rewrites, and related outputs.
• To prevent abuse (hashed IP + fingerprint for the free tool).
• To send transactional email via SMTP (receipts, verification codes, and account-related notices).
• Marketing email via Listmonk + Amazon SES is strictly opt-in (double opt-in) and unsubscribe is always one click.

AI processing

Resume and job description text are processed securely to produce scores, rewrites, and related outputs. Your content is not used to train AI systems. We retain only what is needed to deliver the service for your account.

Deletion

Email hi@jobfitai.com or delete your account from settings — we purge all your data within 7 days.
