What we collect

• Account data: email, name (from Google OAuth if you use it).
• Resumes and job descriptions you submit — stored encrypted-at-rest in Supabase.
• Usage metadata: score counts, IP hash + browser fingerprint hash (for free-tier rate limiting).

How we use it

• To generate and store your resume analyses, rewrites, and related outputs.
• To prevent abuse (hashed IP + fingerprint for the free tool).
• To send transactional email via Zoho SMTP (receipts, magic links, score-jump notifications).
• Marketing email via Listmonk + Amazon SES is strictly opt-in (double opt-in) and unsubscribe is always one click.

AI processing

Resume and JD text are sent to OpenRouter (hosted language models) for scoring and rewriting. Per OpenRouter and model-provider policies, your content is not used to train models. We never store third-party provider IDs tied to your resume content.

Deletion

Email hi@jobfitai.com or delete your account from settings — we purge all your data within 7 days.
